To meet the training needs for Colorado physicians, the Colorado Medical Society has partnered with the Boulder County Medical Society, La Plata County Medical Society, the Colorado Department Public Health and Environment and the International Trauma and Disaster Institute to bring the Advanced Disaster Medical Response course to Colorado for a limited engagement. We invite Colorado physicians to attend this free, one-day only event in Denver on April 14 or in Durango April 16. There are 6.75 CME and 2 ERS points available for attending the class. In addition to international acclaim and real world experience, our presenters have published a field guide covering topics physicians need to know to respond to a disaster; the field guide will be available to all participants who attend. Early registration is encouraged to ensure we have sufficient space and supplies to accommodate all who wish to attend.
